Mitzi L. Sweet Memorial Dog Park

Lawrenceburg's Dog Park is named in honor of a lifelong animal lover who dedicated her time, energy and resources to animal welfare. Her contributions to the city Animal Shelter vastly improved the facility, making life more comfortable for hundreds of dogs temporarily housed there.

 

The Dog Park is located on the city Animal Shelter property at 815 Gaither Avenue, Lawrenceburg. It features separate fenced areas for large and small breeds. Dogs can run off-leash while owners relax at a covered seating area where WiFi is available. Water and trash receptacles are located inside the dogs' play areas.

 

A nearby wooded walking trail offers dog owners an opportunity to enjoy time with their leashed pets.
